Leading Off with a Little Friday Fun

Steve Sack over at the STrib is brilliant again, in his depcition of the two faces of the same fanaticism - over-reacting Muslim extremists who like to burn symbols of what they don't know or understand, and our pseudo-Christian nut job extrists like Terry Jones who do the same here.

Both of the hate mongers depicted below are nasty pieces of work who should be repudiated reguarly and often.

  1. I do not believe burning a book and killing an Ambassador are morally equivalent.

Muslims apparently do. Sack seems to. Do you?

  2. I don't believe they are either. What is closer in equivalency would be burning a holy book compared to burning a flag - which is what happened.

Are you that far behind the news cycles Joe, that you don't know that the attacks-plural- in Libya had nothing whatsoever to do with burning a book OR making a movie?

C'mon Joe, answer that pesky question - do you know who the conservatives where (both Dem and GOP) who comprised the old right and the new right? Do I have to keep teaching you the history of conservativism and the GOP?

If you're wrong, it's much better to admit it, and sooner than later Joe.
