If you weren't crazy, you wouldn't need to worry.

Talk about a fulfilled prophecy - not from God, a self-fulfilling prophecy.

This is one of the crazier fundamentalist religion peddlers.  He has promoted ideas like the Butterball corporation was secretly turning America Muslim by having Muslim clerics performing religious rituals as turkeys were slaughtered..........and then hiding them, so they could 'stealth' Islam-ify the country.

Here is the reality; all turkeys are slaughtered the same, whether they are for atheist or agnostic consumers, Christian consumers (Protestant OR Roman Catholic OR Eastern Rite or 'other' including fundie) or for Jewish consumers, or any other religious consumer that eats turkey, world wide.

The approved method of processing is the same, for all of them, and is also consistent with the processing required by the USDA.  SOME of those turkeys are exported to countries where there are religious requirements for their use.  So for example, the exact same turkeys are sent to ....Turkey, for example, are sent to Israel. When it arrives, the appropriate clergy performs whatever prayers and other services or rituals are required, and then THEY, the respective clergy, stamp it as appropriately approved and prayed over, like kosher or halal, for the appropriate consumption.

This guy makes unfounded accusations against other religious groups.  No wonder he is suspicious and fearful.  He is worried about being on the receiving end of the golden rule, the fear of others doing onto him as he has done onto others.

But the other aspect of this ridiculous rant is that he displays the typical booh hoooh hooo, poor me, the classic right wing wallowing in high melodrama and false claims of being a victim, when the reality is that no one gives a damn about these religious whack jobs except themselves.  This is just a cheap stunt to try to justify acting like an ass for attention.  It doesn't mean he doesn't believe his own fantasy; the right excels at delusional alternate reality scenarios.

This rat-bastard would rather see people like James Holmes or Jared Loughner, who are demonstrably schizophrenic have guns and kill people, using the pretext of their religious freedom, without any threat having been made against that freedom - other than they can't coerce people into practicing it against their will, than have any kind of mental health prohibition, like the one we are supposed to have now (but don't enforce).  It is a tragedy that anyone gives monsters like this a dime, or takes an iota of religious advice or any other kind of advice from them.

For some people, religion is a con, a deceit they practice through playing on people's emotions, mostly fear, with a bit of guilt, and an occasional ray of joy- just a brief ray - to keep them vulnerable.

Here's the thing Bryan Fischer, if you are as crazy as you appear, then guns SHOULD be taken away from you, you superstitious old wind bag, but not because of Christianity, but because you are demonstrably of unsound  mind and character based on your public actions and statements. Clearly, like other right wingers, the facts are not his friend, and he is unacquainted with the truth, and wouldn't know it if he found it.  There is nothing less holy, less righteous, than putting people's lives at risk for his own aggrandizement and profit.
